THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES REQUIRED

  1. Build a team of 15 to 20 strong sales agents. Collaborate with the HR and Training Departments to interview, select and train qualified candidates to join your team in accordance with BIMA’s HR guidelines
  2. Manage the daily attendance of your Sales Agents to ensure the team is active daily and punctual
  3. Motivate your team to achieve daily sales target through demonstrated leadership and coaching. Define your Territory Strategy and weekly route plan in collaboration with your Agents and with support of your Agent Manager
  4. Monitor sales activity to ensure that all your Sales Agents work in accordance with selling guidelines, principles and conduct prescribed by the Company. Ensure your Agents follow the Quality guidelines and provide a high level of education and satisfaction to customers
  5. Provide coaching and support to your Sales Agents to ensure they all meet minimum performance standard. Identify particular sales skills gap and request support from the Training team when relevant
  6. In Collaboration with the Marketing Department, organize static or mobile marketing events to drive brand awareness and sales
  7. Take ownership of customer requests and complaints received on the field from customers in your Territory, by actively liaising with the Customer Service and Claims Departments until issue resolution
  8. Provide feedback to your Line Manager on customer objection and complaints, and participate in brainstorming sessions to ensure we continuously improve our products and services
  9. Liaise with sales administration to ensure that Sales Agents are provided with all the working tools they need and on time
  10. Enforce the Company’s HR guidelines on misconduct and non-performance to make sure that queries are issued and corrective action is taken whenever required
  11. Actively contribute to creating a great customer-centric culture within your team, where customers are cherished, employees and their ideas are valued, and results are recognised and rewarded
  12. Conduct any other related duties assigned by the Company

 

THE CANDIDATE – SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  

  • First Degree or HND with commitment to engage in Degree process
  • Must have completed National Service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Passion for field sales, you have sales experience yourself and possess a strong leadership acumen. You excel at motivating and leading people
  • Exceptional organizational skills and deadline driven
  • You take ownership of your territory (sales, marketing, customer service)
  • Strong interpersonal and human relation skills
  • You are self-motivated, set yourself and your team goals and achieve them
  • You have a strong team spirit, collaborate with your team members and make suggestions on how to continuously improve our services
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office suite applications
