The role will be based in Ghana and will be responsible for Sales Operations and Planning in Ghana. The right candidate has an extensive experience in creating an enabling environment for efficient sales outcomes, designing and implementing incentive structures and leading projects

The Sales Operations and Planning Manager is part of the Local Management Team and reports directly to the Head of Telesales.

  • Work collaboratively with local and global marketing teams to establish lead generation programs, refine lead qualification process, analyse, and update on leads performance with accurate reports and dashboards
  • Drive visible performance management, use KPI’s to track progress, monitoring actual performance versus plan awareness to drive improvement
  • Create an enabling environment for efficient sales and to boost sales productivity by refining customer segmentation, simplifying the sales process and identifying pain points at every stage of the sales funnel
  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management
  • Designs sales planning framework from; sales presentations, input into recruitment and leads strategy, compensation structures and hold training team to account. 
  • Lead the implementation and management of CRM system to achieve set objectives and timelines
  • Support in the launch of associates engagement activities to build right team culture and improve retention.
  • Works closely with local team members and Global specialist teams, translating sales strategy into tactics and the consistent implementation of best practices across. 
  • Work with Sales Managers to improve and increase sales associate performance and increased conversion.
  • Plans and forecasts KPIs across (sales volume, quality of sales, channel activity related indicators, incentives, leads planning, etc.).
  • Measures and evaluate sales data to predict outputs vs. react to outputs.
  • Ensures financial plans, actual, budgets and forecasts are integrated into operational planning cycles.
  • Assess key risks and opportunities and proactively address budget deviations/ recommend corrective actions and/or sales promotions
  • Provide in-depth analysis on performance / improvement recommendations 
  • Daily communication of Associate level performance to track MTD performance
  • Post-mortem analysis for all launched initiatives to control our cost versus claimed revenue.
  • Analyses patterns in consumer and market behaviour, and subsequently define data-driven action strategies to consistently optimize the business’ commercial performance.
  • Supports with planning and implementing business development initiatives and partnerships when required


  • Minimum 5 years professional working experience in sales operations planning
  • Proven Sales operations and planning experience 
  • BA in business administration, sales, statistics, mathematics, or master’s preferable
  • Deep understanding of people and data with a high level of commercial acumen and an understanding of consumer bases
  • High emotional intelligence with superior levels of self-awareness, personal resilience, and the ability to relate to others and adapt approach as the situation requires
  • Proven orientation for efficiency, seeks ways of improving current methods, systems, processes, and structures as well as questions all activities relating to necessity to maintain high productivity and quality
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively run several projects simultaneously, flexibility and agility are essential.
  • Urgency when working, analysing, and adapting to different situations, quickly understanding changes, and reacting confidently and decisively
  • An eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data, you can also translate this into meaningful, useful information that informs decision-making.
  • Thorough, follows up on incomplete or inadequate answers to pin down the facts.
  • Build trust, good working relationships and communicate effectively with your colleagues and across functions.
